PeerSource is currently recruiting for multiple Telecom Operations Managers on a Contract basis for our client in Englewood, CO.
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our video engineering department, focusing on operational efficiency, process optimization, and high-quality project execution. This role is integral to ensuring smooth workflow, effective team management, and adherence to industry standards within video engineering operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations within the video engineering department, ensuring streamlined workflow and efficient resource use.
- Identify and drive process improvements to optimize operational effectiveness.
- Lead and mentor the video engineering team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
- Ensure all video engineering outputs meet established quality standards.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets to maintain cost-effective operations.
- Provide regular performance and operational reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of operations management experience with a focus in IT/video engineering.
- Proficiency in video engineering technologies and operations management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of team management in operational roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: Experience with cloud-based video processing and streaming technologies, knowledge of video compression standards/codecs, and certification in Operations Management or related areas.
